The second review and extension audit of the environmental management system in line with the international standard EN ISO 14-001:2015 was carried out last week (November 7 and 8) at U. S. Steel Košice by external auditors from from the TÜV SÜD Slovakia certification company.

“On behalf of the whole auditing team I can state that based on the submitted materials, documents and records, as well as our inspections focusing on fulfillment of the requirements entailed by the new structure of the standard, we have not found any area which fails to meet the set conditions. U. S. Steel Košice will be issued with a new certificate updated to the 2015 version of EN ISO 14-001, for the remaining period of the latter's validity,” said chief auditor Pavel Horník.
