From Monday, November 13 onwards, there are Wishing Trees standing at strategic points around the steelworks, decorated by the wives of the Company's top managers and hung with a total of 157 cards bearing the Christmas wishes of children from the families of our colleagues involved in the “We're with you at the right time” program, or from the foster homes in Podolínec and on Uralská Street in Košice, and the young adults having left the foster homes and now staying at the Halfway Houses in Košice and Medzilaborce.

So the traditional Wishing Trees project is up and running again, aiming to make the year's most beautiful holidays more pleasant and to fulfill the Christmas wishes for some completely unknown children who have to face many and various obstacles in life. The Wishing Trees with cards in the shape of angels, little houses and fir trees can be found in the lobby of the main AB building, the canteen in the USSK Public Access Area, and the vestibule of the Commercial building, and they'll be in place until November 20 this year.
