The teams in the war rooms at Power Engineering and the USSK subsidiaries have done well this year. This was confirmed at the meeting of the producers of the best projects in the second and third quarters of 2017, also attended by Vice President Subsidiaries and Services Elena Petrášková, which took place in the main auditorium on October 26.

Both war rooms have generated a whole series of interesting projects. In the second quarter among the subsidiaries the dominant project was “Reducing costs for F packaging of pickled coils” by the joint OBAL-SERVIS and CTS team, and in the third quarter it was the “Revenues from CO2 auctions” project developed by a multi-departmental team. In the Power Engineering war room, first place in the second quarter was taken by the “Improving efficiency at the Sokoľany Waste-water Treatment Plant” and in the third quarter the best project was entitled “Optimizing contractual penalties in the provision of support services”.
