Last Wednesday, November 8, U. S. Steel Košice welcomed a group of managers from USS headquarters for a one-day working visit. The group included United States Steel Corporation Board Member Robert Stevens, Executive Vice President and CFO Kevin Bradley, Robert Garretson from the Legal Department, and two managers from Research and Innovation Kevin Zeik and Jeffrey Becker.

The working program for the Pittsburgh group began first thing in the morning with a meeting with members of the top management of the Košice steelworks, then continued with a discussion in the central War Room with leaders and members of teams working on projects within the Carnegie, Our Way transformation process. In the afternoon they went on a plant tour taking in Conticaster no.1 at the Steel Plants, the 4-stand tandem at the Cold Rolling Mill, the Color Coating and Dynamo lines, and finally the Hot-dip Galvanizing line no.3.
