Kosice, December 13, 2005 - The American company Environmental Quality Management, Inc. based in Cincinnati (Ohio) is coming to Slovakia. The Economic
Development Center U. S. Steel Kosice, taking large credit for establishment further foreign firm in Kosice, introduces a new investor. The Slovak branch of the engineering company
under the name EQ Engineers Slovakia is employing 50 people by the end of 2006 and it plans to enlarge the number of employees to ninety in the course of following five years.
Environmental Quality Management ranks among a hundred of the largest environmental and engineering companies in the USA. As expected, the Technical University
Kosice should be a key source of technical talents for its subsidiary company in coming years.
The first client of EQ Engineers Slovakia will be U. S. Steel Kosice. The company will enlarge the base of customers by other manufacturing shops in
Slovakia and also in all the Eastern Europe, including firms it has already been cooperating with in the USA. "The East Slovakia region provides excellent conditions for undertaking. The
foreign capital inflow contributes to its development, thus we invite each new investor and are looking forward to cooperation with EQ Engineers Slovakia," U. S. Steel Kosice
President David H. Lohr said. According to EQ Engineers Slovakia President Ronald Hawks "the opening of an operation in Kosice represents an opportunity to grow in Europe and to fill up
needs of the quickly developing economy and investment expansion in this area."
