Yesterday and Today

Kosice, November 9th 2006 - Yesterday and Today is the name of the exhibition through which artist Zlata Reistetterova shall present her work at the U. S. Steel Kosice Gallery. At the exhibition the artist will present her graphic creations, watercolors, and sketches. Gentle abstraction for illustrating the subjects and geometric shapes, dynamic elements and harmony of color dominate the exhibited works. The cycle Normandia is inspired by the architecture of Normandy, which the author became familiar with during her study residency in France. In the year 2005 she participated at the U. S. Steel plenary for painters. Her experiences from a tour of the iron works giant emerge on the canvas, pastels, collages, as well as suggestions for logos. The current exhibition of Zlata Reistetterova gives proof of the fluent continuity and creativity of her artistic work.
The exhibition takes place on Thursday November 9th 2006 at 17:00. The exhibition runs until the 12th of January 2007, during work days from 8:00 to 15:30.
