Kosice, Slovak Republic, November 27, 2006 - U. S. Steel EUROPE will increase the price of Hot Dipped Galvanized product effective with orders placed for delivery January 1, 2007 and later by a minimum of EUR 40/ton. Color Coated product will be increased by a minimum of EUR 50/ton.

In addition, during the 1st quarter 2007, U. S. Steel EUROPE will begin production of Hot Dipped Galvanized product on their new state of the art Hot Dipped Galvanized line in Kosice, Slovakia.
