Kosice, May 17th, 2006 - This week we will finally know winners of the ecological competitions organized by U. S. Steel Kosice with intention to promote a positive attitude of young people to environment. After two successful years the competition Where and how we will live, initially devoted only to students of elementary schools, expanded for high school students, who will take part in the knowledge competition named What we didn't know yet. While the task for students of elementary schools was to develop projects focused on issues relative to the protection of nature, air and water or to waste collection and separation, high-school students competed in four rounds of the knowledge quiz. 17 elementary schools from Kosice and vicinity and 19 Kosice high schools, represented by 82 teams, took part in the contest. U. S. Steel Kosice will grant the implementation of winning projects of the contest Where and how we will live by SKK 200 000. The three most successful high-school teams of the knowledge contest will enjoy prizes amounting SKK 45 000.

The ceremonial announcement of results of the both ecological competitions with awards and cultural program will take place in the cinema Slovan on May 19th, 2006.
