September will once again be reserved for the Summer Games of the employees of U. S. Steel Košice. The 26th edition of these annual Games will be held from September 11 to 17, with the exception of the 15th, which is a national holiday. Steelmakers will be competing in thirteen sporting disciplines, starting with golf on Sunday, September 11 on the greens of the course at Malá Ida.

After the holiday the competitions continue on September 16, and this time they again include table-tennis and volleyball, the latter tournament taking place after an absence of several years in the students' gyms on Jedlíková Street. The runners line up for the start of the 10-kilometer race in the early morning of the 17th, and later the same day the in-line skaters and cyclists will be comparing their strengths, and the chess and football-tennis tournaments will be played. At the same time the volleyball, tennis, futsal, bowling, table-tennis, badminton and softball competitions will be continuing.

The prize-giving ceremony is due to be held at 6 pm on September 17 in the Spoločenský pavilón social events center.
