Whole families of steelmakers, employees of U. S. Steel Košice, do sport together. The fact that active exercise is nothing strange at all for them was confirmed again on Saturday of last week, August 11, at the popular event known as Families Do Sport, which took place at the USSK training facility in Medzev.

The opportunity to measure their strengths in five sporting disciplines was taken up by more than four hundred steelmakers and their family members, competing in soccer, streetball, table-tennis, skittles and darts matches. In addition to these sports competitions, the organizers from the department of USSK Director Public Affairs also prepared a wide range of other attractions. There were demonstrations of call-out operations by soldiers, Šaca Hospital staff offered various health status tests, and the children could enjoy many different kinds of entertainment.
