Just as in previous years, this October and November the management of U. S. Steel Košice are preparing a series of meetings with their employees who have achieved significant periods of long service this year – 30, 35, 40 and 45 years of work for the Company. These meetings with management representatives and labor union leaders will be taking place on October 12 and 26 and again on November 16 and 30, and the honored guests will be invited together with their spouses. During the gala evening each of them will receive a commemorative medal and a letter of thanks from the President of the Company. Those who have been employed for 40 or 45 years will also take home a wristwatch as a memento of their time at the steelworks.
