Today, the House of Arts in Košice will resound with the first tones of the 69th Košice Music Spring. All of you who were interested in the opening concert of the Operetta Gala already have tickets and you are certainly looking forward to an evening full of well-known melodies from world operettas with great singers Kateřina Kněžíková and Adam Plachetka.
This international music festival is also characterized by a selection of non-traditional venues where concerts take place. In addition to the House of Arts, you will also be able to enjoy concerts in the courtyard of the East Slovak Gallery in Košice, in the Cathedral of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, the Synagogue on Zvonárska Street and in Tabačka Kulturfabrik.
On May 29 at 8:00 p.m., the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will perform in St. Elisabeth of Hungary's Cathedral, which will come with the ARVO PÄRT 90 program. The ensemble, crowned with two Grammys, will pay tribute to the jubilee star of the art of world composition.
The concert dedicated to Arvo Pärt's 90th birthday will bring spiritually deep and peaceful music by one of the most distinctive composers of today.
