Kosice, May 31st 2007 - This coming Saturday Kosice ZOO will be changing into a place full of music, dancing and fun. U. S. Steel Kosice is inviting all children to a Dance Party at the ZOO on the occasion of International Children's Day. Small and big alike will be able to celebrate their special day in a truly attractive way. A great program of events has been prepared for them, and there will be a lot of beautiful prizes. The Dance Party begins at 2 pm, but the ZOO gates will be open right from 9 am. The art of dancing including demonstrations and dance lessons for children will be presented by Milan Placko's Dance School. The program go on with performances by the music and dance group ABBA Born Again, dancing animals and Talent Night finalist Tomas Krak, and there will be a hair studio, face-painting, and a whole lot of other surprises.
Apart from competitions and games, children can enjoy story-telling, a general knowledge quiz, a bouncy castle, a genuine Scouts' tent and a safari bus. Ice-hockey fans can look forward to an autograph sesion with HC Kosice players Peter Bartos, Stanislav Gron, Gabriel Spilar and Juraj Faith. The ZOO grounds will be decorated with an exhibition of children's artworks from the recent grand opening of the new Seal House.
Refreshments for visitors will be availble not only from the ZOO's own snack-bars but also from another six stands run by U. S. Steel Services offering various specialities, savories and drinks. Entrance for adults costs 50 Sk, but all children get into the ZOO for free.

Transport:
Public transport to the ZOO will be increased. In addition to the regular no. 29 bus, a shuttle service will be available free of charge. This will be leaving at 7-minute intervals from the parking lot at Namestie osloboditelov, traveling via the Railway Station, Jumbo Center and Mier Shopping Center between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm. The shuttle will be leaving the ZOO bus-stop and returning to the city between 3.30 and 6.30 pm. Car-parking opposite the General Health Insurance Company building will be free of charge from 11.30 am to 7 pm.
