As every year, last week our Company joined with the other operations of the United States Steel Corporation in carrying out the Week of Ethics and Maintaining Principles. From Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25, using various means like e-mails from the Company's leading representatives, short training materials presenting ethical dilemmas, or employee research concerning ethics and maintaining principles, we recalled our common commitment: To do what is right. Moreover, during the week several employees throughout the Corporation whose behavior makes them examples of strong moral character were acknowledged and awarded the title Champion of Ethics and Maintaining Principles. At U. S. Steel Kosice it was Dana Fudorova, General Manager Contract Law and Disputes Settlement in USSK Legal Department, primarily for her contribution to the implementation of our Company's anti-corruption program and strict enforcing of the rules concerning economic sanctions.
