U. S. Steel Košice has launched a new Carnegie Way project entitled Optimizing SMS Texting, with the objective of cutting costs incurred by the sending of SMS texts through the SMS portal, as well as reducing the number of actual texts sent. One of the clear benefits will be the time-saving in reading texts which have purely informative character and are not crucial for the recipient's work performance. When the project started, nearly 70 000 texts were being sent on average every month, while after the reduction this was cut to just 39 000 texts in April. Of course, not all users of mass texting accounts can have their texts cancelled, and employees for whom they are indispensable at work will continue receiving them.
United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) today provided second quarter 2024 adjusted net earnings per diluted share guidance of $0.76 to $0.80.
