On Wednesday, September 6 the Košice steelworks was visited by United States Steel Corporation President and CEO David Burritt accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors David S. Sutherland, Vice President U. S. Steel Human Resources Barry Melnkovic, and other top management representatives from Pittsburgh.

During their one-day working stay at U. S. Steel Košice they took part in several meetings with members of the Company's top management, visited the steelmakers in the Central War Room, took great interest in the production from HDG Line 3 at the operation itself, and spent the afternoon at a meeting in the main auditorium with the managers of the production divisional plants and specialist departments.
