Last week, on May 5 and 6, the President and CEO of the United States Steel Corporation Mario Longhi paid a short working visit to U. S. Steel Košice together with his colleagues Senior Vice President Automobile Industry Solutions James E. Bruno and General Manager Engineering and Automobile Industry Product Development Gerhard Hoffman.
The American managers had several meetings with U. S. Steel Košice President Scott D. Buckiso and other members of Company management, at which they discussed current topics affecting the running of the steel company. Mario Longhi was presented with the new energy management system certificate awarded to U. S. Steel Košice by the TÜV SÜD Slovakia certification company after the recent recertification audit, and he visited the USSE Research and Development departments to discuss novelties in the field of product development and innovation.
