Kosice, September 25, 2012 - U. S. Steel Europe announced today, in line with its new commercial strategy, the opening of a sales office in Milan, Italy. The new sales office will work to identify additional sales opportunities and expand U. S. Steel Europe's commercial presence in Italy.

"Opening this new sales office is another step forward in line with our new commercial business strategy known as ‚Close to You'," said Christian Korn, vice president - Commercial for U. S. Steel Kosice. "Our goal is to get closer to our customers not only by opening new offices that are geographically close to them, but also by increasing our dialogue with them. This strategy will help us better understand our customers' needs and learn more about local business conditions so that we can provide our customers with high-quality steel products as well as solutions that will help them improve and add value to their own business."

The new branch, located at Via Giovanni Boccaccio 45, in Milan, will be managed by Enrico Caruso.
