Transport is so far the first production division at U. S. Steel Košice to achieve a truly impressive feat in the area of occupational safety. On Sunday, June 18 of this year the nearly 800-strong team of employees credited their account with a figure many might find incredible: three million employee-hours worked without a single injury in the demanding conditions and risky environment of the steelworks. In this way the Transport workers have shown their colleagues in the works that carrying out difficult tasks in the long term without the slightest injury really is an achievable goal.
