More than 160 employees from all of the operations in the Transport Division gathered in the ÚMD canteen on Monday, April 11, for a working breakfast to which they were invited by U. S. Steel Košice President Scott D. Buckiso to mark their success in working 1 500 000 employee-hours without injury. This new total was achieved on April 1 of this year.

Scott Buckiso was accompanied in congratulating the Transport workforce on this significant result and thanking them for their outstanding effort by Vice President Operations Marcel Novosad, General Manager Production Support Peter Gazsi, GM Occupational Safety and Hygiene and REACH Mark Salo, Deputy GM Occupational Safety and Hygiene and REACH Róbert Meitner, as well as Transport Division Director Peter Balog and other managers involved.
