Marek Tkáč , the winner of the main prize of the competition that we did with Auto Gabriel back in the spring, enjoyed his win great. The Škoda Enyaq electric car was available for free for a whole month. He chose the turn of July and August and is returning it to the store today.

Marek Tkáč works at DZ Maintenance, on crane maintenance. He has already tried his luck in several competitions.  And he smiled in this competition of ours, where he won an electric car that he had wanted to try for a long time, right for a whole month.

Where did you and your family go?

We were on various trips around Slovakia. The furthest we went was to Poland. We looked at Krakow and its surroundings.

What did you see?

In addition to Krakow, we were very interested in the natural swimming pool, which is called the Polish Maldives. It is located in a former quarry. They let in a maximum of 1,000 people at once, we came later, so we didn't get there. But right next to it is also natural swimming in the same quarry, only one is with beaches and the other is natural. It is very nice there and what is interesting - there is no entrance fee to any of those swimming pools. We were also in a nice village called Zalipiu, where there are beautiful "drawn" houses.

How did you drive?

The car is excellent, if it wasn't so expensive, I would go buy it right away. It's out of reach for us yet, but it's a really great car. It is very good and easy to ride.

 

 

Didn't you have a problem with charging?

At first, yes, but I have smart children who knew how to advise me.  First, I charged at a charging station of one of the retail chains, where you have to pay in advance and then charge only at these stands until you use up the entire amount. So I had 180 euros "blocked" for 7 days.  Then the kids found the Green way stands, where you only pay what you consume, with a normal credit card. At home, I charged in the garage. If we had photo voltaic panels, it would be free. On the way, neither in Slovakia nor in Poland, we were left hanging anywhere. The network of charging stations is quite decent for the current number of cars.

Another interesting fact: I charged at the Green Way stand in Poprad  23.1 KWh for 15.95 euros. According to the invoice, I saved 18.78 kg of CO2.  I don't know exactly how they calculated it, but it's great with regard to saving the environment.
