This coming weekend the traditional event known as Volunteers' Day – U. S. Steel for Košice reaches its grand tenth annual edition. Košice steelmakers who are willing to help without reward start on Friday, May 13 with the blood drive, donating the most precious fluid in the world to help the sick, and with the collection of clothes and useful things for the charity centers. Next day, Saturday, May 14 many of them will be coming with their family members and other volunteers to roll up their sleeves and join together in renovating and improving the premises and surroundings of six partner organizations. They will be most welcome at the Botanical Gardens, Košice Zoo, the Children's Historical Railway, the Forrest Gump Club, the Hurbanova Street Foster Home in Košice, and the Animal Shelter between the steelworks and Haniska.
