U. S. Steel Košice's subsidiary companies know the right way to do things. In recent days they have made an excellent achievement in the field of occupational safety, just like the employees of the Transport Division last year. At the end of June the subsidiaries jointly credited their account with an incedible three million employee-hours worked without a single injury. Thus on Wednesday, July 4, nigh on 400 employees of the companies RMS, a.s. Košice, OBAL-SERVIS, a.s. Košice, U. S. Steel Košice – Labortest, s.r.o., U. S. Steel Košice – SBS, s.r.o. and U. S. Steel Košice – Services s.r.o. came together to share an informal session at the recreation center in Medzev. Their success, which was not achieved easily, was acknowledged and highly praised by USSK Vice President Subsidiary Companies and Services Elena Petrášková. Among those congratulated were naturally also GM Occupational Safety and Hygiene and REACH Mark Salo and GM Subsidiary Companies Jaroslav Mikláš.
