Two new records in daily production were set at U. S. Steel Košice on April 2 this year. The records were set at the Finishing and Tin Mill Division on galvanizing line no.1 and at the Cold Rolling Mill on pickling line no.1. The new daily record of 762.32 tons on galvanizing line no.1 was achieved by shifts C, D and A on April 2, beating the old, 11-year record from July 2007 by 27.45 tons. The daily record set by the employees on pickling line no.1 also in shifts C, D and A amounts to 5 354 tons of material.
