After nearly twenty months of continuous construction work, granulate boiler no.7, which is part of the extensive reconstruction and modernization of all the boilers in the Power Engineering Division, was brought on line on June 29 of this year, and in a trial run supplied the first steam to the combined system of the Heating Plant. The boiler now awaits a series of hot and general tests, followed by trial operation, then warranty testing and ultimately official approval for use. Completion work is already proceeding on some component series.
