On Monday, February 29, the fwirst of this year's quarterly meetings took place, at which the principal topics were the financial results for U. S. Steel Košice and the U. S. Steel Corporation in 2015, the situation on the steel market, the results and further objectives in the Carnegie Way transformation process, and the outlook for business in 2016.

Company managers heard reports on these topics from USSK President Scott Buckiso, Chief Financial Officer Matthew Lewis, Vice President Commercial Christian Korn and General Manager for Improvement of Processes and Technologies and Transformation of Production USSE Ján Petko. At the same meeting Štefan Atyafi from the Tin Mill was presented with the Carnegie Trophy for the best team results in this quarter.
