Winter sports games at Jahodná are always a good opportunity for us to meet families from our project We are with you at the right time.
5 families took advantage of the invitation to talk over a cup of coffee or tea, to take a walk in winter nature, but also to participate in sports competitions and a parade of carnival masks.
Ľubomír Lovás' family praised the trip to nature very much. Little Emka also liked it, who was constantly singing and cried only once when she fell out of the sledge. It was a completely new experience for her.
Dominik Szanisló's family joined us for a meeting at the Jahodná cottage. They did not go to nature, because due to the heavy, wet snow, it was very difficult for them to "drive" the stroller. But we learned from his parents that little Dorian likes to go to kindergarten very much and has already found a lot of friends.
Štefan Szepesi's sports-minded daughters are good skiers. Older girls Sofia and Viktória competed on a large slope and then "trained" the youngest sister Dominika, who joined a ski competition on a small slope. The best place was won by Sofia (pictured), who placed 5th in the category of older students.
The family of Denisa Kassaiová, who came with her son Florián and daughter Dorotka and her sister, enjoyed their stay in the snow, on sleds, and on bobsleds. Especially four-year-old Dorotka – quicksilver – gave her mother and aunt a hard time.
The family of Lukáš Petrus came without a sick father. Mom Nike was also helped by her sister with the still curious and restless Darko.
Darko was our only representative at the winter carnival. In a red firefighter's costume, he was unmistakable on the white snow. At the last minute, he decided to join the bobsleigh competition and then showed us a diploma and a sweet reward with great pride.
The carnival in the snow ended the morning for all children. The imagination (probably of the parents) worked especially hard this year. In the carnival area, Tic tac candies, little fans of HC Košice, witches, little cooks and toadstools stood out.
No child left empty-handed. In addition to diplomas and cups, the organizers also had a small sweet for everyone. Almost 60 children enjoyed the competitions and the mask show.
Just before the end of the event, we accidentally met Peter Azari, who was in our project last year. His daughter Sofia stood on the slope on skis for the first time at last year's Winter Sports Games. She liked skiing very much. "We also wanted to come and see you, but Sofia skied from nine to one in a row until she completely "fell off", so I loaded her into the car and we are going home." The photo of the little skier is therefore from last year.
