On 28 – 29 May 2024, under the auspices of the Slovak Maintenance Society, another, already 23rd year of the international scientific and technical professional conference, focused on maintenance, was held under the name National Maintenance Forum 2024. It was attended by more than 250 participants, maintenance workers and suppliers of materials and services for maintenance from Slovakia and Central Europe.
This year's general partner of the event was SKF, a supplier of rolling bearings and solutions that support the reliability of bearing operation.
During the two days, 30 professional lectures were presented focused on the following main thematic areas:
- Best Maintenance Practices
- Advanced maintenance technologies and energy saving
- Information Technology in Maintenance
- Predictive maintenance and diagnostics
- Advanced technologies and safety in maintenance
The conference also included a traditional meeting of the USSK maintenance management organized by the Maintenance Transformation Team. It was attended by maintenance representatives from each divisional plant of our company. We discussed topics related to the Metrix cost-saving program and the topic of implementing a new ERP in maintenance.
The conference provided each participant with an excellent opportunity to broaden their horizons in professional maintenance topics, as well as the opportunity to establish professional contacts with maintenance workers from all over the region.
