This week, the director of DZ Koksovňa, Oto Viszlay, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual meeting of the Czech Coke Oven Company, which took place in Ostrava.
U. S. Steel Košice is a long-term member of this company and the director of DZ Koksovňa is the very first Košice resident, a colleague from our company, to be awarded such an award.
"Of course, I was very pleased with the award," says Oto Viszlay.
The Czech Coke Oven Company was established more than 30 years ago and brings together experts whose work is related to the production of coke and the processing of chemical carbonization products. It currently has 136 members – natural persons, 13 legal entities from the Czech Republic and 7 from abroad.
"The company organizes various professional conferences and seminars and is an excellent platform for the mutual exchange of experience of experts in this field of industry. I participate in many, not only in the Czech Republic, but also in other European countries," said Oto Viszlay.
