In the competition, which we organized in cooperation with Auto Gabriel, one of the prizes - an Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron for the weekend was won by Marek Horský, who works on the expedition in DZ Cold Rolling Mill. While receiving the prize certificate, he told us that he would use the car for a family trip to the surrounding area. And he has already graduated. He wrote to us about his experience:
"First of all, I would like to thank you once again for the opportunity to win the competition electric car for the weekend ☺️. The ride on the electric "audinka" was very pleasant and especially quiet, as the engine was hardly audible at all. I also praise the acceleration or start, the "audinka" had good acceleration.
I drove my car several times around Košice and my family and I were on trips to two zoos. First in Košice and the next day in Spišská Nová Ves, as our daughters enjoy animals the most.
I am very happy for this experience. It confirmed to me, which readers will surely agree with me. This is the fact that electric cars are still built for shorter lines with their battery capacities. In the city, at a constant speed, the battery discharged slowly, even managed to charge, and I really liked that. But on the highway at a speed of 120-130 km / h, the car very quickly takes the "juice" from the battery. Electric cars may be the future and a replacement for diesel and gasoline engines, but it still takes time and space to improve and develop these cars and especially the batteries and their real endurance."
