Flower shops are already filled with beautiful, fragrant and colorful flowers, with which men will show their respect to women – wives, mothers, sisters, friends and colleagues tomorrow. There is really a lot to choose from.

Heavy industry companies such as ours are dominated by men. Of the total number of employees, women make up 14 percent.  Their average age is 52 years, men are younger, their average age is less than 48 years.  However, women stay in ironworks longer, on average 29 years, while men only 23 years.

In managerial positions, the representation of women is 8 percent. We have two vice presidents, 5 general managers, 28 directors, 2 executive managers, 12 team managers and 10 champions.

International Women's Day fell on a Saturday this year.  So gentlemen, say hello to your colleagues tomorrow at least by text message and know that the flower will also please you on Monday.

IWD is an internationally recognized holiday established by the United Nations to mark the anniversary of the strike of 40,000 New York   seamstresses in 1908 who fought for the abolition of the mandatory ten-hour working day , against low wages and poor working conditions. Since 1975 , it has been commemorated as a day of international women's solidarity for equality, justice, peace and development.
