Košice's fairytale Christmas has begun On Friday December 1., 2023. Despite the very bad weather, many Košice residents did not miss the opportunity when the lights light up the entire Main Street.

We couldn't miss it either, as U. S. Steel Košice is the main partner of Košice Christmas. Marcel Novosad, vice-president of U. S. Steel Košice, wished Košice happy holidays: "The greatest joy is definitely given to children. Also because the snow has fallen and they can sled, ski, skate, snowball... May it last us until Christmas. I would like to wish everyone happy holidays. But especially to children to enjoy beautiful and peaceful holidays. Not only our children in Košice, but also children in Ukraine, Gaza, Israel and everywhere in the world where there are conflicts." Marcel Novosad then helped Firefly light up Christmas decorations in the city.
