This year exactly 736 Košice steelmakers celebrate a significant employment anniversary, i.e. 30, 35, 40, or even 45 years spent working at the steelworks. On Friday, October 13, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel saw the first in a series of four by now traditional meetings of U. S. Steel Košice management with the celebrating steelmakers.

The management's invitation to this gala evening including the presentation of letters of thanks, commemorative plaques, and in the case of the most senior employees also wristwatches, was accepted by long-serving staff from the departments of Company management and the Finishing and Tin Mill and Shipping divisions, together with their spouses.
