Face masks are not obligatory any more

Based on the currently valid measures of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic, the obligation to cover the upper airways in U. S. Steel Košice indoors and outdoors is abolished with effect from April 21, 2022.

Although upper respiratory tract overlay is no longer compulsory in most cases, it is recalled that this is still an easy and effective way to reduce the risk of transmission of the disease. It is perfectly fine if, even with the positive development of an epidemic situation, you decide to continue to protect yourself and put on the respirator/mask in situations that you assess as risky. Wearing this protective device still makes sense if you are going to meet people of older age, chronically ill, pregnant women or other persons prone to infections or a more severe course of diseases.  It also makes sense to avoid places at risk, especially those where more people are staying.
