Data analysts at school desks

Last week, four of our colleagues sat at school desks.

Rastislav Klimza, Anton Baron, Peter Liška and Peter Marušiak (in the photo from the left) participated in the week-long Summer Data School training, which took place in the premises of UPJŠ.

The organizer was Data Science Academy, a company dedicated to teaching and sharing knowledge in the field of data science, data analysis, machine learning and related disciplines.

"We were lectured by renowned experts. The program has been designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The training focused on understanding complex datasets, which include both structured and unstructured data, and ways to derive meaningful conclusions from this data. Great emphasis was placed on process automation, which allows for more efficient processing and analysis of large volumes of data. We also discussed creating predictive models and finding useful information that can improve business processes and strategies," said Peter Marušiak.

Rastislav Klimza added: "I already had more or less information about all the topics that were on the training program, so nothing surprised me. Nevertheless, it was interesting and stimulating, because our lecturers are at a high professional and presentation level."
