On Friday, children from our friendly St. Klement Hofbauer Children's Home from Podolínec came to watch the hockey match between HC Košice and HK Poprad. Coming from a town only 30 kilometers away from Poprad, they kept their fingers crossed "halfway" - for the players of Košice, but also for the players of Poprad. Even before arriving in Košice, they were guessing how many goals would be scored. A sweet reward was promised for the most accurate tip, so they watched the match closely and counted the goals.

We have been inviting children from ten children's homes of eastern Slovakia to hockey matches since 2006. Slávka Tvrdoňová from Public Affairs, who usually accompanies them at the stadium, experiences sweet stories with them. Like last time, when one of the youngest children asked: "And Messi is here?"
