In the last few days the section of Vice President Information Technology has completed the evaluation of the best IT solutions from the fourth quarter of 2019. The winning project was Migration of the the L2 system on Conti-casting Line 1 from the Open VMS environment to Windows, produced by the team consisting of Michal Dulovič, Jozef Dzurňak, Branislav Findrik, Vladimír Hušek, Jozef Jurek, Roman Krafčík, Matúš Lech, Ján Marcinčák, Dagmar Marcinčáková, Róbert Matina, Peter Sabol, Rastislav Šárik, Pavel Schuster, Miroslav Tvrdoň and Peter Ujházi.
Second place went to the project entitled Implementation of truck entry control system, developed by Lucia Veselovská, Bohuslav Potočňák, Jana Šidlíková, Jozef Horniak, Alexander Varga, Zoltán Béreš, Peter Margita, Marek Parimucha, Katarína Vojaček, Ľubomír Račko, Bohuslav Papán, Marián Bender, Viktor Malachovský, Vladimír Čaplár and Ladislav Tischler. The project named Migration of IS ZENIT, the information system for managing production, consumption and balancing of energy media within USSK, from the Open VMS environment to Windows took third place, and the team of developers included Ivan Nosaľ, Július Mižík, Ján Rusnák, Miroslav Micheľ, Stanislava Priščáková, Ján Mihók, Martin Pokorný, Ján Belej, Róbert Tuschl and Alžbeta Smoľáková.
