On March 16 th Vice President Christian Korn met APEAL General Secretary Alexis Van Maercke, who was visiting U. S. Steel Košice.  They talked about our future cooperation with  APEAL which is the association of European producers of steel for packaging.  Alexis Van Maercke  was impressed about the organisation and the logistic in this integrated company.  He talked with Christian Korn about common challenges which need our attention and also effort from all members of APEAL. Christian Korn  explained some specifics typical for the V4 countries and especially Slovakia. We want to cooperate with APEAL in area of recycling and circular economy. The closest event should be a conference on recycling organised by the Technical University of Kosice.
