The team on Galvanizing Line no. 2 in the Finishing and Tin Mill Division scored again in July, crediting their account with a new monthly production record of 20 511.16 tons. They beat their old record from January 2018 by 111.9 tons.

The steelmakers on Conticast Line no. 2 also manned up, setting a new record casting sequence lasting 38 days, 16 hours and 33 minutes, thereby breaking the previous record set on Conticast Line no. 1 in 2007, which came to 36 days, 6 hours and 23 minutes. On top of this they achieved another great result in the form of a record number of heats, which on Line no. 2 now reaches a total of 1368, that is 184 heats more than the record from eleven years ago.
