This week, our seniors from the Autumn of Life took part in the continuation of the 10th year of the Summer Olympics of Seniors of the City of Košice – the autumn part.

147 participants from 38 senior clubs came to the event at the Sports and Entertainment Complex on Alejová. There were five disciplines: throwing a cricket ball at circular targets, throwing a cricket ball at a pyramid made of cans, throwing a basketball at a basket, hitting a cricket ball into the goal with a floorball stick and kicking into the goal.

Vlado Šandrik won the discipline of hitting a cricket ball into the goal with a floorball stick, in the same discipline in the women's category, Magda Šandriková (pictured) won 2nd place.Helena Brožeková won in the goal kick category.

The Autumn of Life was represented by a group of 8 competitors and an equally large group of fans. The event was also organized by Anna Havierová as a referee in the discipline of throwing a cricket ball at a pyramid made of cans and Helena Hrivňáková as a paramedic.
